Sensory Explorers: Social-Emotional Learning Groups

In this 4-week series, the children participating will need to have the verbal language skills to understand requests and express their needs, provided the support to do so. The intention of the group is for parents to be present and involved during the session.
Cost is $120 for four sessions
Group is a minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 children.

Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Movement Specialist
Karina uses a play-based, relationship-centered, child-led-adult-directed approach to improve postural awareness, fine motor skills, self-regulation and attention.
She received her M.S.O.T. at San Jose State in 2013 and has worked in schools and outpatient pediatric therapy clinics. Prior to becoming an occupational therapist, Karina worked part-time in schools teaching gardening and life-sciences, and as a massage therapist and yoga instructor.
Karina is an avid naturalist, forager and outdoor enthusiast. As a result of international travel and a year spent living in Venezuela, she is fluent in Spanish.
